The Co.Hort is Co.Arts Theater Company’s devising group. Every year, we seek a new group of theater artists to create a play from scratch.
If you’re ready to dive into an exploration-based collaborative playwriting process, this project is for you!
Commitment to the Co.Hort includes two weekend writing retreats in OKC and six in-person meetings through February-May 2026.

Script submissions for Season 2026 are now open! We're looking for new works to be developed with a team of dramaturgs and directors for production in 2026 as either a staged reading or a full production in Norman or OKC.
Playwrights will receive a stipend of $500 if selected for a staged reading or a stipend of $1000 if selected for a full production.
Deadline to submit is December 31st, 2025.
